Lather up the soap in your hands then apply the suds to your hair and scalp. Massage from the roots to the ends of the hair then rinse thoroughly.
You may want to put an apple cider vinegar rinse through your hair after shampooing (1 part apple cider vinegar to 4 parts water put in a spray/squeeze bottle). Rinse this out thoroughly. You could also use a lemon juice rinse.
As you may be aware, when changing your hair care routine to an all natural shampoo, there’ll be a transition period where you may feel like your hair is waxy or frizzy. This period can last a few days or a few weeks, it’s different for everyone but hang in there! Your hair and scalp will thank you in the end for not using harsh chemicals on it! Find out more about the transition period in our blog.

We love the funky look and fun scents of the Primal Suds range.
The owners Andrew and Jen created Primal Suds because they wanted to move away from conventional soaps. Like us, they wanted to know what exactly is being absorbed into our bodies. What started off as them making soap for themselves quickly became Primal Suds.
The name Primal Suds reflects taking soap making back in time where mother nature provided the ingredients for soap.
All their products are natural and free from parabens, SLS and artificial fragrance. They don’t and won’t use palm oil, instead they use rapeseed oil which is kinder to the planet.
All their packaging is compostable and all their products are vegan and cruelty free (i.e., not tested on animals).
