The plastic-free boxes are recycled and recyclable, and Friendlÿ is also registered with The Vegan Society and Cruelty-Free International. Shelf life: 12 months
Lather up the soap in your hands then apply the suds to your hair and scalp. Massage from the roots to the ends of the hair then rinse thoroughly.
You may want to use an apple cider vinegar rinse after shampooing (1 part apple cider vinegar to 4 parts water put in a spray/squeeze bottle). You could also use a lemon juice rinse.
As you may be aware, when changing your hair care routine to an all natural shampoo, there’ll be a transition period where you may feel like your hair is waxy or frizzy. This period can last a few days or a few weeks, it’s different for everyone but hang in there! Your hair and scalp will thank you in the end for not using harsh chemicals on it! Avoid contact with the eyes. If shampoo does get in the eye, rinse the eye with cold water.
Sodium cocoate, Sodium olivate, Aqua, Sodium castorate, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) essential oil contains linalool, limonene, geraniol, Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) essential oil contains limonene.
Friendlÿ Soap was started by Rob and Geoff who grew up in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, where back in the 1970’s it was a hotbed of alternative, hippy and punk culture. This shaped Rob and Geoffs lifelong interest in radical political thought and social and environmental justice.
Looking for fairer ways of doing things came naturally to them and they worked at Suma Wholefoods Co-operative and became inspired to start Friendlÿ Soap in 2008.

Friendlÿ soap does not contain animal products or by-products and is never tested on animals.
Friendlÿ are registered with Cruelty Free International and The Vegan Society.
Their soap is made using the cold-process method which means the soap is totally biodegradable and free from by-products. The soap is poured, cut, stamped and packaged by hand which gives it a small carbon footprint.
The soap packaging is 100% recycled which is recyclable after use.
No harmful preservatives (parabens) or foaming agents (sls) are in the soap.
Shea Butter is from a women’s worker cooperative in Ghana.
Coconut oil is from coconuts that are guaranteed not to have been harvested by slave monkeys.
Friendlÿ has thought of everything! They do as much as they can to have as little impact as possible on our plant and its wildlife. Where they do have an impact, they try their best to make it positive by supporting communities who could use a helping hand.
