EcoCoconut Bottle Brush

Only 1 left in stock

Do you poke a sponge into your water bottle with the handle of a wooden spoon to clean your bottles, then spend ages trying to get the sponge back out again?

Although this is a perfectly good method for cleaning bottles, did you know that sponges and some other bottle brushes contain plastic?

You can now clean bottles a lot easier with this plastic-free bottle brush made by Ecoconut. You can also use it to clean champagne glasses, tea pots, jars and babies bottles.

The bottle brush is made with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified recycled Rubber tree’s grown in a plantation and at the end of their life replanted and the wood used for the brush handles.  The bristles are made from sustainably farmed coconut husk’s which is the outside of dried coconuts.

Note: Test all surfaces for scratching, although our products are marketed as non scratch some soft or low quality plastics have been known to scratch easily.  We do not take responsibility if a surface is effected and we have tested 1000’s of surfaces which are known to be safe.

Each bottle brush measures 32cm x 3.5cm x 3.5cm.

100% vegan.

To use: Rinse thoroughly before first use. Immerse and use in warm water with washing-up liquid/soap. To keep the bottle brush fresh between uses, rinse and squeeze out excess water and shake out any food particles. Hang using the string so that it has the chance to dry out between uses. For the first few uses you may notice some loose fibres or ‘dust’ but this will reduce over time. To freshen the bottle brush occasionally soak it in hot water with washing-up liquid and then air dry it. The bottle brush should last for a good few months.

Why I love this bottle brush;

  • Perfect shape for cleaning bottles and jars.
  • Using coconut coir bristles, instead of plastic, reduces the amount of plastic waste entering our environment and the amount of micro plastics entering our seas.
