Brush with Bamboo Child Toothbrush

These toothbrushes, by Brush with Bamboo, have soft bristles and an easy-to-grip curved handle.

Why I love this toothbrush:

  • The bristles are just the right size so that the toothbrush feels nice in your mouth when brushing your teeth.
  • The handle is made from 100% certified organic bamboo.
  • The soft bristles are composed of 62% Castor Bean Oil and 38% Nylon so although not completely plastic free, it contains more plant than plastic. It’s not biodegradable but is still recyclable through Terracycle. Please be aware that there is no such thing as a biodegradable bristle as they all contain a certain amount of nylon (unless made from pig/boar hair).
  • The handle is fully compostable and can return to the earth, either by landfill or in your compost. If you want to compost the handle, simply snap off the bristles and put the handle in your compost bin.
  • Packaged in a recyclable and compostable cardboard box and no glue is used.

Toothbrush Care:

Bamboo is a natural material that keeps best when kept in a dry area. Enclosed toothbrush cups that collect water are not ideal. It’s best to dry the handle after use and keep your toothbrush in an open-air toothbrush holder or any other dry area.

Replace every three months.

Rinse/ wash before use.

Bamboo is natural woody material that will fade over time. The bamboo on the top portion of your toothbrush that goes in your mouth may begin to appear lighter and faded with use. This is normal! It will not affect your brushing experience.
